Signing of 6.9 Billion grant to Water Service Providers under the Conditional Liquidity Support Grant (CLSG) Programme.

CS Sicily Kariuki accompanied by CAS Dr Tuimur, Water Secretary Eng Alima, Eng F. Ng’eno Chair CECs Caucus on Water Sanitation and Mining Committee, among other senior officials witnessed the signing of 6.9 Billion grant to Water Service Providers under the Conditional Liquidity Support Grant(CLSG) Programme at Maji House Nairobi.

The CLSG facility which will be managed by Water Trust Fund and WASREB will act as the independent performance monitoring and verification agent of the grant facility.

The Programme is aimed at providing short term liquidity Support to WSPs to maintain operations and service levels during the Covid-19 crisis.
